Good evening,
Slowly but surely things are moving forwards. As they say ' Rome wasn't made in a day'. Over the last two weeks I have working on developing things on Ebay. To tell you the truth I have only read the first chapter in the course I bought but it inspired me enough to take some action.
Now, some people believe in luck and that you are born lucky or unlucky. Well I guess that depends on your own point of view. A lot of the books I have read touch on the subject of positive thinking. I mean I can never be able to fly with the power of thought (even though some nights I really believed I could!) but if you always believe the best will happen, nine times out of ten, it does.
One book I read really covers this off and its called Think and Grow Rich. I have read some other books but this one is the original. Click here to check it out.
Anyway why did I start talking about that... oh yeah it was about luck happening if you believe it will. My mate gave me a call recently regarding some good value products that a certain type of store was selling. I was a bit cautious but I did some research (Yes using the tips in the course!) and saw that there was actually some profit in them. Admittedly not hundreds but at least it was a start.
So I have been putting these things on Ebay and at the moment if they all sell like they are doing a profit will be made which will in fact cover the cost of the original course... happy days! So the next time you get a random phone call from a mate saying he has seen a deal just spend a second doing some research or you might miss out.
As the Ebay stint is not over for this product I will just note the costs at the moment.

Starting out on Ebay
Hiya,
It's been a few days since I started the blog so eating into the two year deadline! However I have taken some action. You can't see results without doing something about it!
A couple of weeks back I went on a course in London on Internet marketing. Very interesting and informative. Basically it was telling us how to make money online. Lots of information but the fact that some people had paid for an additional course over a year ago and had not even taken it out of the box showed me that it is not only information that will get you where you want to be.
The thing that works for me is taking small but positive steps. After all you can only reach a goal if you move towards it, however slowly you are going!
During this course they offered a few products. A mentoring course helping you design a website, price $4000. Another crash course on Internet business, price $5000. As I sat there thinking I don't have the money for one of those, a realisation dawned on me. I have been learning so much over the last couple of years I should have enough to put a business online and earn something little from it.
I mean I'm sure those courses are amazing and I would learn so much. But after the course had finished and I'm back at home, would I continue with the same drive and motivation?
With that question in mind, I worked out I have to go with what I know so far and just try it out. I have to get my motivation and focus sorted out before I could succeed.
As the last session came to an end of the last day they offered a cheaper product. I sat up and listened intently as the bloke on stage, Jason Bax I think, spoke about starting out on Ebay. Now I have used Ebay from time to time, selling bits and bobs, buying hard to find records, never really thinking it of a place to do real business.
The information provided over the weekend regarding Ebay had a couple of great ideas which I never thought of. So this course would be full of ideas! The price came up and it was going for $177 which is about £87.40 with the exchange rate at the time. Seeing as I am on lock down this month (no going out, no delivery takeaways) I thought I have to start somewhere.
I have only read the first step so far but if nothing else it is inspiring me into action. Inspiration is priceless and at £87.40 I think I have had a bargain.
Anyway I will keep you updated on how the learning is coming on. For anyone wanting to learn with me go to http://www.auctiontips.com/t.cgi/971357

A long journey always starts with a first step.....
Hiya,
My name is Andy and welcome to my Blog.
First let me ask a question?
If you could have 3 wishes right now what would they be? Think about it for a moment. When I asked this to myself recently I thought of a few things.....a comfortable lifestyle, a toned body, speaking another language, Tottenham winning the league. Ok I'll keep it within the realms of realism and forget about the Tottenham thing!
Anyway it didn't matter what things I wanted as I knew if I had one thing I could get them all. What could that be? Well more wishes would help, but I think all I need is a little... maybe a lot of motivation.
For example with a lot of motivation I could exercise everyday for that toned body. For the lifestyle I could study for a new career to help me earn more money.
Some people have so much self motivation that they may read that and think 'If you want it, just do it'. I agree that is the easiest way to get things done but it's getting over the first hurdle and continuing jumping each hurdle that comes in front of you. I mean I only need a Playstation 3 in front of me and I can lose days!
I've read loads of books on motivation and goal setting. Some things work and some don't. Today I have the bright idea of trying some of these things out and seeing if people out there have had similar experiences. After all there is no point reinventing the wheel and in there is a quick solution then why not share it.
As you can see from the name of my blog £750,000 in two years I have set myself a goal. Why £750,000? well someone told me once that if you work out what you need a year to retire and times it by 15 you come up with your no more work figure. Why two years? who knows just thought it would be a stretch!
So I am writing this goal for all those people looking to improve themselves who don't know how. I'm going to look into new business ventures from home, gambling tips, motivational aids and anything else that can be used to help get me to £750,000 in two years.
The ironic thing is that the two year date is 25th September 2009 which is infact less than two years away. This was due to me having an idea then but not doing anything with it!
Follow me as I try things out, leave messages on things you have tried that worked or didn't work, leave suggestions on things I could try out.
Target amount: £750,000
Target date: 25th September 2009
Current Amount: £1000
Thanks for reading!
